We take care with every bottle we craft and just as much care when we ship it to you. This Shipping Policy explains how we get our spirits from our hands to yours—safely, legally, and responsibly.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below. We may update this page from time to time. The most current version will always live here, and the date at the top lets you know when it was last changed.
1. Legal Age & Responsibility
Spirits are for adults. You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or receive alcohol from us. By ordering, you’re confirming you’re of legal drinking age and that anyone receiving the package is too. A valid government-issued ID will be required at delivery.
If no one 21+ is available to sign, the carrier will try again up to two more times. After three failed delivery attempts, your order will be returned and subject to restocking and reshipping fees.
2. Title & Shipping Authorization
Ownership of your order passes to you once the transaction is completed. You authorize our licensed retail partners to ship on your behalf using common carriers (like UPS or FedEx), who act as your agent in the delivery process.
We don’t insure shipments. If you’d like to arrange insurance, we recommend contacting us before completing your order.
3. Where We Ship
We currently ship only to select U.S. states where it is legal to deliver spirits. We currently do not ship to MI/SD/TN/UT. If you’re unsure whether we can ship to your state, please check your local laws or reach out to us before ordering.
Note: We cannot ship to PO Boxes. A physical address is required for all deliveries.
4. Order Processing & Updates
Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation. We’ll then notify you if:
Your order is accepted and ready to ship
Items are on backorder or delayed
We’re unable to fulfill your order due to shipping restrictions
When your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number. If you need to make changes or have questions, reach out to us at hello@gooddistillations.com.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on your order’s size, weight, and destination. You’ll see applicable charges at checkout. These costs are set by the carrier and may include special handling for age verification and alcohol transport.
6. Taxes
Where required by law, sales tax will be added at checkout based on your shipping address. Tax rates vary by state and municipality.
7. Weather Warning
Extreme temperatures—hot or cold—can affect the quality of spirits in transit. If you’d like us to delay shipping due to weather concerns, just let us know. We’re happy to hold your order (storage fees may apply).
8. Damage in Transit
We pack our products carefully, but once a package leaves our hands, we can’t guarantee how it will be handled by the carrier. Good Distillations and our partners are not liable for damage during shipping, though we’ll always try to help if there’s an issue.
9. Why are there wrinkles in my bottle?
Each bottle is made from recycled paperboard, so slight wrinkling around the neck and small gaps near glued seams are normal. These natural imperfections are part of the sustainable design—and don’t affect the quality inside.
10. Legal Compliance
By placing an order, you confirm that:
You comply with the laws of your state or locality regarding alcohol purchase and shipment
You are of legal age
You have secured any permissions, paid any taxes, and worked through required intermediaries where applicable
If your jurisdiction prohibits the shipment or receipt of alcohol, please do not place an order. It is your responsibility to know your local laws.
11. Shipping Fulfillment
Note that your order, while processed through our website, is not fulfilled by Good Distillations Company. When you check out, you will select a retailer who has already purchased spirits from us. They will fulfil your order. ‘We’ above, refers to the retail partner who will manage your order. We have selected the best of the best retailers to partner with and will do everything we can to make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase.
